Scenario · Run-Flat Failure

Run-flat tire gave out on I-95? We don't service run-flats — call anyway and we'll get you sorted, swap to a real spare if you have one, or arrange a tow.

Miami heat and potholes chew up run-flats faster than the manual claims. If your TPMS light is on, the tire is losing pressure, or the sidewall is bulging — pull over safe and call us. We dispatch a tech to your GPS pin across I-95, the 826 Palmetto, US-1, and Aventura corridors, typically within 15 minutes.

The four-minute fix

What happens the moment you call about a run-flat.

Pull over safe. Put on your hazards. Then call us. From that call to a tightened spare usually takes under 30 minutes door-to-door inside Miami-Dade.

STEP 01

You call (786) 551-9398

A real Miami dispatcher answers in Spanish or English. Tell us your location, the tire position (front/rear), and whether your spare is full-size or donut.

STEP 02

We pin your GPS

Share your pin or exit number. We confirm corridor coverage — I-95, 826 Palmetto, US-1, 836 Dolphin, Aventura, Sunny Isles, Hialeah, Miami Gardens — and dispatch the closest unit.

STEP 03

Tech arrives ~15 min

Tech rolls up in a marked van with a jack and torque wrench. We confirm whether you've got a real spare to work with.

STEP 04

Spare swapped, you roll — or we call a tow

If you've got a real spare, we drop it on and you're rolling. If you don't, we don't service the run-flat itself — we coordinate a flatbed to your nearest tire shop instead. Either way, you don't sit on the shoulder.

Pull over safe before you call.

If you're still rolling on a run-flat at highway speed, slow down below 50 mph and exit at the next ramp. Run-flats are rated for ~50 mph / 50 miles once deflated — past that, the sidewall shreds and the wheel can be damaged. Park on level pavement, set your hazards, and stay off the traffic side of the car.

Read the tire

What actually happens when you call.

We don't plug or mount run-flat tires — no equipment for it, no exceptions. Here's what we can and can't do depending on your situation.

Your situation
What it means
What we do
Run-flat losing pressure, any cause
Not something we service, regardless of tread vs. sidewall.
Not Serviced
You have a real spare (donut or full-size)
Doesn't matter that the flat tire is a run-flat — we mount your spare.
Spare Swap
No spare, run-flat unrepairable
Needs a shop with run-flat mounting equipment.
Tow to Shop
Not sure if it's actually a run-flat
We'll help you confirm — check the sidewall for RFT/ROF/SSR/ZP markings.

What we handle on arrival

What we do at the curb. What we don't.

If your situation matches what we do, we fix it on the spot. If it doesn't, we'll tell you on the call and arrange a tow or shop drop — no wasted trip.

Spare swap (donut or full-size)

Jack the car, drop the spare, torque the lugs to spec. Most swaps done in 12 minutes from arrival. Works even if the flat itself is a run-flat — we're mounting your spare, not touching the run-flat. We don't sell you a new tire — we get you home.

Flat dispatch $65

Run-flat plug or seal — not offered

We don't have the equipment to plug or mount run-flat tires, tread or sidewall, no exceptions. We'll say so on the phone instead of guessing at the shoulder.

Not serviced —

Tow coordination

When the run-flat isn't drivable and there's no spare, we call a flatbed to your nearest tire shop. We stay with you until the truck arrives. No sitting alone on the shoulder.

Included in dispatch $0 add-on

Diagnostic

No spare, or not sure what you're dealing with? We come out, assess, and either confirm it's a regular tire we can help with, or point you to a shop for the run-flat.

Where run-flats fail most in Miami-Dade

Twelve corridors where the shoulder calls us first.

Run-flat failures cluster on specific ramps and stretches. If you're stuck on one of these, we usually have a unit staged within ten minutes.

Why run-flats fail here: Concrete joints at the NW 62nd St and NW 135th St bridges chip run-flat sidewalls faster than asphalt. Debris from the express lanes renovation (2023–2025) still surfaces on the inside shoulder between Ives Dairy Rd and Hallandale Beach Blvd. Common dispatch window: 7–10 AM weekday commuter traffic, 4–8 PM evenings. Closest staging: Golden Glades Park & Ride.
Why run-flats fail here: Heavy truck traffic deforms the right lane between Okeechobee Rd and NW 25th St. Wheel rims crack before the run-flat reinforcement engages. Closest staging: Hialeah Gardens lot.
Why run-flats fail here: Tolls and lane shifts near the I-95 interchange cause potholing in the eastbound transition. Closest staging: Downtown Miami depot.
Why run-flats fail here: Older pavement between Cutler Bay and Florida City, slower speeds, but frequent mid-block breakdowns. Closest staging: Cutler Bay and Kendall/Pinecrest.
Why run-flats fail here: The Biscayne Blvd / NE 187th St / William Lehman Causeway triangle sees heavy tourist traffic and parking-lot debris from the mall garages. Drivers coming off the 826 or I-95 often don't realize they have a slow leak until the TPMS light comes on inside the mall. Closest staging: Aventura and Sunny Isles units.
Why run-flats fail here: Condo valet parking often causes curb-rash on the right front run-flat. The repair shop is far from any staging. We dispatch in under 12 minutes here.
Why run-flats fail here: Three-lane merging at US-1 / I-95 / Hallandale Beach Blvd creates one of the highest debris densities in the county. Run-flats handle the puncture, but the reinforced sidewall overheats by the time drivers notice.
Why run-flats fail here: Industrial traffic near Miami International Airport and the cargo zones. Wheel damage from potholes at the LeJeune Rd interchange is the dominant failure mode.
Why run-flats fail here: The I-95 / 826 / Florida's Turnpike triangle sees the highest shoulder-stop volume in the county. Staged unit here covers Aventura, North Miami Beach, and Miami Gardens in under 10 minutes.
Why run-flats fail here: Hard Rock Stadium event traffic, NASCAR weekends, and concert exits drive thousands of cars through this corridor. Run-flat failures spike on event nights — call ahead.
Why run-flats fail here: Older concrete on Biscayne Blvd between NE 145th and NE 185th St. The TPMS sensors fail before the tire does — we see 30+ "phantom TPMS" calls a week.
Why run-flats fail here: Industrial fleet traffic on Okeechobee Rd, plus the worst pavement joints in the county at W 12th Ave. We stage a unit here from 5 PM to 7 AM on weekdays.
What Miami-Dade drivers say

Real quotes from real shoulder stops.

Reviews pulled from our public profiles. Names shortened to first name + initial.

"Run-flat went on I-95 north near the 826 split. The tech showed up in 12 minutes, told me straight they don't touch run-flats, and coordinated a flatbed to a shop that could handle it. No runaround, no wasted time."

Marcus T.Aventura · 2024 BMW 3-Series

"My Mini doesn't even carry a spare. They came out anyway, confirmed it was a run-flat, and were honest that they couldn't service it — pointed me to a shop instead of stringing me along. No upsell, no fake urgency."

Diana R.Brickell · 2022 Mini Cooper SE

"Sidewall bulge on the Palmetto near Okeechobee. They didn't try to swap a shredded tire — they called a flatbed and waited with me. Refunded the dispatch and pointed me to a shop. Honest operation."

Run-flat questions

Eight things Miami-Dade drivers ask us.

Most are about whether their situation is a swap, a plug, or a tow. Here's the straight answer for each.

Yes — if your donut is properly inflated and the run-flat sidewall is intact. Donuts are rated 50 mph / 50–70 miles. We'll drop it on, torque to spec, and tell you the speed limit before we leave.
Two common causes: a slow leak (often a nail hidden in the tread), or a dead TPMS sensor. We pressure-check on arrival. If pressure is fine and there's no visible damage, you likely just need a sensor reset at a tire shop — we'll tell you that on the call.
We'll come out for the $40 flat diagnostic regardless. But we don't service run-flat tires — if that's what you've got and there's no spare, the visit confirms your situation and we coordinate a tow to a shop that stocks and mounts run-flats.
If you give us an exit number or GPS pin between NW 135th St and US-1, our Golden Glades or Aventura unit usually arrives in 10–15 minutes. South of Cutler Bay, we dispatch from Kendall — typically 15–20 minutes.
No surge, no upcharge. The flat $65 dispatch is the same at 6 PM and at 11:30 PM, inside our operating window. Outside-window calls go to voicemail with a 30-minute callback guarantee.
No — we don't service run-flat tires, tread or sidewall, no exceptions. Most manufacturers don't recommend plugging run-flats anyway, since the plug can void the tire warranty even on a clean tread puncture. A shop with the right equipment can tell you your options.
Yes — same tech, same dispatch. If your A/C quit the same day, mention it on the call. We bundle the A/C refresh ($89.99) with the tire dispatch. EPA 608 certified, refrigerant recovered and weighed per federal law.
Use whichever gets you off the shoulder faster. We don't bill insurance companies directly — you pay on completion and submit the receipt. Most policies reimburse within 48 hours. Our dispatch receipt has the codes most insurers ask for.
